Order of the Bow

Centered in Markai, the order puts emphasis on the bow, in a world where swords are ever-present. Members of the order tend to carry light armor, but their choice of bows varies greatly. Membership in the order allows them to carry corrosive, and flammable arrows apart from the standard iron-tip arrows allowed to others. The leader of the Order of the Bow is currently Callisto Leisiter, a Deadeye. In contrast with the Order of the Sword, the test for advancement in the Order of the Bow is always the same: an empty field is entered, while blindfolded, with targets at various distances, some even moving. Advancement requires a minimum performance. Archers must hit all targets before time runs out. For a Marksman, all targets must be hit in the bullseye before time runs out. Sharpshooters have the same task but cannot waste an arrow—each arrow must hit its mark. Deadeyes must hit all targets without fail in the bullseye, before time runs out, and additionally they are given one fewer arrow than there are targets.

Members of the Order of the Bow include Tori Whittiker, Iriadine Bellozo and Jacquelyn Flores. Tori Whittiker is one of the youngest Marksman in the Order of the Bow, while Jacquelyn is an Archer.
