Androsii time is calculated by year, month, and day. The Year, in Andros, is calculated from the time in which the Telks crossed the sea and entered Andros. King Whaldo, thus, began his reign in the year 14, as he was not immediately King upon landing on Andros. The Year is divided into 13 months, named for the 13 constellations which lie on the ecliptic.
1. Darawk, the first month, pertaining to the Perched Direhawk (Perch-hawk) constellation. Darawk marks the beginning of the season known as Witherun. It has 29 days.
2. Clorik, pertaining to the Shrouded Hunter (Hunter) constellation. It has 32 days.
3. Despark, pertaining to the Storming Thunder (Storm) constellation. It has 32 days.
4. Voyden, of the Forgotten Sky (Forgotten) constellation. It has 37 days. Characterized by a lack of stars. It marks the beginning of the season known as Voydar.
5. Telsh, the Lone Shadowcat (Shadowcat) constellation. It has 33 days.
6. Salarity, of the Broken Sail (Ship) constellation. It has 29 days.
7. Flindor, the Flying Fellcondor (Condor) constellation. Flindor marks the beginning of the season known as Lethact. It has 33 days.
8. Rhyndor, the Stomping Mount (Horse) constellation. It has 30 days.
9. Dycrut, of the Dual Swordsman (Swordsman) constellation. It has 32 days.
10. Stargaze, pertaining to the Forest Foliage (Forest or Foliage) constellation. It is the constellation with most stars, it lasts 36 days, and marks the beginning of Shinahrt.
11. Hown, the month of the Hungry Hound (Hound) constellation. It has 32 days.
12. Arrack, of the Piercing Bow (Bow) constellation. It has 27 days.
13. Starfall, the final month, pertaining to the Bannered Castle (Castle) constellation. It has 34 days. Home to the mysterious star that appears every other year, only at that month, Bystra.
The months have varying amounts of days, but they average 32 days.
